The April Blogging from A to Z Challenge continues!
B is for BOOK
Writers love books. Readers love books. It’s a symbiotic relationship that satisfies all parties involved.
The definition of what constitutes a book has been evolving during the last few years of technological design, but the message remains the same. Books – in any form – are something we just can’t live without.
Today, I’m going to share a new favorite of mine…. It’s A Book by Lane Smith
Go ahead. Smile indulgently at this “children’s book”. The joke’s on you. This hilarious little 32-page number is packed with digs and pokes at the digital world, and mostly defines what a book isn’t.
You’ll enjoy the conversation between Monkey and Donkey (and a little from Mouse), but mostly, the last page will have you rolling on the floor with the one answer we’d all like to give to those who interrupt us when we’re reading.
I won’t spoil it for you, but you absolutely MUST go get this book for yourself. If I were a gazillionaire, I’d buy one for all my friends – even the donkey ones.
Leave a comment for me, if you please. Writing is a lonely business.
